"La vida es bella" dicen algunos, y no les quito la razón, pero para ello has de sentirte realizado en aspectos muy importantes que te rodean en tu vida.

Tras haber sido educados con el ideal de "estudia una carrera y tendrás un trabajo que te realice como persona y te ayude a vivir 'esa vida bella' " nos hemos dado cuenta, espero que la mayoría de los jóvenes que estén acabando o hayan acabado sus estudios se hayan percatado, de que nos han mentido como a tontos de pacotilla.

¿Qué ha pasado? Muy fácil y triste a la vez: mientras la generación que se tiene que encargar del país en un futuro inmediato se formaba estudiando (o trabajando los que eligieron ese camino), los que tenían la sartén por el mango se estaban aprovechando para sacar beneficios a toda costa sin pensar en "cómo le vamos a dejar el país a nuestros sucesores". Pues bien, ahora, con una carrera terminada, experiencia profesional relacionada (si se tiene), idiomas y más extras, las únicas ofertas de trabajo que encontramos a día de hoy en España, si es que se encuentran y acabas trabajando, son trabajos precarios (perdón por la expresión, aunque no debería) de mierda y encima somos los que vamos a tener que levantar este timo de sistema llamado "Estado de bienestar". ¿Estado de bienestar? ¿Para quién? Para los que ya tiene la vida solucionada y que se la han ido resolviendo mientras nosotros nos formábamos.
No es normal que en un país, una persona se haya formado o tenga un CV excelente y esté en paro o trabajando en algo que no le aporte nada en tu área de conocimiento o incluso ya como persona.

Paseo por la calle y veo a toda esta gente con sus coches, sus plazas de garaje, sus pisitos, sus maletas porque han estado de vacaciones, etc. y por otro lado veo a gente manifestándose, pidiendo un cambio real para bien y mendigos que no tienen donde caerse muertos. Luego, llego a tiendas y restaurantes y me encuentro con los trabajadores con malas caras y de malas ganas; no me extraña nada, yo estaría igual. Trabajar 40 horas a la semana en algo que no te aporta nada, para que cuando llegues a fin de mes veas que no tienes ni un duro, no es que indigne, es que desmoraliza y desespera a cualquiera.

Me dan ganas de preguntarles a los primeros que me cuenten su secreto, que cómo han conseguido todo eso estando como está el país, pero ya me sé la respuesta: corrupción y egoísmo.

¡Nos dejan el muerto! Y lo que es peor de todo, no proponen soluciones viables. Siempre nos mienten con "esta reforma va a hacer que mejore la situación", "esta propuesta tal", que si Pascual y que si p'allá y lo único que hacen es inflar sus bolsillos sin preocuparse en las consecuencias.

A ver señores, se les está dando un sueldo muy importante para que sepan llevar al país por buen camino, no para que lleven por buen camino exclusivamente sus vidas. El objetivo es colaborar con todos, no pensar en uno mismo y que les den a los demás porque claro, como yo ya estoy bien, me da igual todo. A parte, tampoco se les está pagando para que vayan privatizando lo que vean a su antojo económico, para que en vez de proponer soluciones se echen la culpa de "pues lo que propuso el años pasado ha fracasado y es usted un inútil" o "esto con nosotros no pasaba" (eso lo hacen los niños pequeños y me parece a mí que ya no son pequeños, ¿o sí?).

Creo que al país le ocurrirá esto: como no tenemos nada que pintar aquí (teórica y laboralmente), acabaremos yéndonos todos a distintos países y se lo quedarán ustedes y se pudrirán en él sin que nadie pueda pagarle sus pensiones y jubilaciones ya que se quedarían ustedes solitos con el desastre que han creado.

Y dejo de escribir porque prefiero estar buscándome un hueco o una solución en esta vida.

Poetry Open Mic in The White House

My first time reading my poetry in front of an audience. It was great, but I felt really nervous.

I have noticed now that I have to read slower... I was introduced as "the español".

Anyway, I was asked to repeat the experience next Wednesday , so I'll be there and will do better.

The best thing is when people tell you that they loved your poems!!!!!! Great feeling.

The String of Life

Someone wish so many things
That does not know how to feel.
"This has been a good year",
But now, this someone has the feeling of fear:
Once love is not corresponded
He/she thinks it will never be trusted...
Maybe this person gives it a chance,
Though it may never show up.
Apparently, the feeling has to disappear,
And this fella thinks about being lost.
Hope is, and will be, always there,
So do not give up, follow your aim,
Because if you think you deserve something,
Eventually someone will give you that string.

An Important Feeling

He was amazed with that state,
Never thought about the possibilities,
And cared so much about his fate.
He claimed long life to those spirits
Who lived their long-live minutes
As if they were dreams,
And never cared about the opinions
Carried out by those irritating persons.
Now, he sits down on that stairs,
Thinks about these amazing fairs
And concludes that his fate
Has to be connected with his own state.
Let it lead to wathever happens,
Because life, sooner or later, would compensate those matters.

Unkown days

Due to those days
That guy almost know what life is about,
But he still doesn´t get that way
And feel this experience going out.
It can be love, music, esteem,
Which make him feel confused;
Although they try to himself redeem,
He thinks life is an abuse
For those things that cannot be realized
By that part of the personality called "shyness".
All these seem like a mess,
And one day everything will be expressed.
Hope that experience soon clarifies,
If not, let him live without false hopes.

We are what we are or what we are supposed to be, that is one of the main questions that are now invading me, but the main one is who we are supposed to be and how we are supposed to behave. These facts depend on something: yourself, which is continually changing. So, if someone says to you that you are like this or that, do not mind about it, you are yourself and that is all. The main objective is your personality, yourself, though it changes through all our entire lives. So, why are we changing through all our entire lives? is this usual? what imply these things? what determines yourself/personality?is there something that we cannot realize about it? is all these because of the society? Bufff... too many questions rounding my thoughts. However, my opinion about personalities is that we are too complex for analyzing ourselves due to our continuous thoughts. We realize about these things because we are observers, and also because we change so easily and fast that we do not realize how these things affect us in ourselves during our entire lives. I hope you, reader, to agree with me, or at least in some way. Life was easier when you were a kid, because you do not think about these matters, do not you?

And others that may you fear.
Now, one could think
Where's the good people?
They are hidden among those who stink
And they quickly fly away like eagles.

But it won´t last for ages,
Because something will happen
And could split the new relation.
So, make sure you´ll find the right ones,
Because they last much less than those fellas.

Is This Love?

When we do not talk about love when we want to talk about love, an important issue to take into consideration. It is like a fever that we have inside, and when we have the chance to do it, we cannot afford it (and it seems so easy...). The person who is going to be said that love, is so powerful, that the feeling becomes cruel, weird, and almost impossible to throw it up. Why is this so? I cannot tell it, but hopefully, someone could do that, because if they cannot, loads of people may be in a big trouble. Why the people that we appreciate in this manner do not realize about our struggle? Is it so difficult? I do not think so, or at least, at this moment of my life. Hopefully time will answer this, because if it does not, I will not find that love in my entire life, or maybe I will, who knows? Maybe I should take myself to another place and try to forget it, but I am apparently tied to this place, I could not bear the idea of being away from these people. Perhaps I find another person , but, will this be like the other? It is said that there are not two same persons in the world. However, if these people do not realize about my wicked feeling, they do not deserve me, or do they? Anyway, I have to put these words into practice and lead my feelings into another worthy world, place, time, or person.

A thing called troublesome.

As has been said by most of people, life is not as easy as some think.
Another day and plenty of stuff to do. He just wake up, almost feeling good.. Well, it was another tedious day. Get a shower, have the little slice of bread with marmalade, and the usual glass of milk with cacao powder. Prepare his bag with the college notes of the course for the lectures, and get at the bus, which will lead him to his dream: to become someone in this dammed life (which is not an easy task). However, his thinking leads him to the worst feelings of the universe. Anyway, he enters the lecture very proud of being who he is.
The lecture is getting very interesting, but the people do not mind it, because it is very early in the morning, and they only think to finish the lectures and pass the modules, while he is thinking what the time is going to do to him. Geez, what great remembrances arrive at his mind. They were the ones that make oneself ashamed, proud, melancholy, […] he does not know how to describe them. Suddenly, the figure of his best thought comes, tension, happiness, a stream of nerves, he does not know why this was so complicated. Over-beating is taking his heart, and he does not realize about the causes of it.
Out of the lecture he realizes that that circumstance could not last so much time.
Nobody knows about it, you know it, no one cares about it. You are just a consequence of this society, who knows? Maybe you are wrong, but that feeling is overtaking you. You read something similar in those amazing books, but could not imagine that it could happen to you. It is something very hard to explain. I wish someone were in my mind to tell me what is happening to me because this is not as easy as they say. Those special persons who I like to be with cannot be here right now, and if they were, you could not say anything to them, why? Do not know, but you have to think that you cannot be with them all the rest of your life. You have to choose. One or another, but it is impossible. One cannot be at the same time in several places. Eh?! You are in another lecture and your mind does not notice it. Maybe this is more serious than you thought. You have to tell it, but how? They could understand you, but you are not brave enough to tell it. You need someone to take care of this, and that person can only be you, but you need someone too. Arrgh! It is very difficult but not impossible, maybe time gives you what you want, maybe not, but… What do you want? I know, but at the same time I do not know. Well, keep it out at least now, you have to be focusing in the lecture, but I cannot. Keep it out I said! Ok, it seems it is out, but not for a long time, it will appear again in any moment. You do not know how they could do it in pristine times, but you can guess that they keep it or tell it, the same as you, though you cannot throw it up because you are a kind of coward in this aspect. Your feelings are the weirdest thing these last years. I realize now why those people write that stories, to feel better. Oh imagination, you are cruel most of times, you imagine impossible things. You feel better there than here, but you have to change it, and in order to do so, you need to find the person who will help you throughout your life, but, who wants to do it? The ones you thought? Goz, shut up mind! You know those ones are impossible goals, besides you make it possible, but how? Telling them this short of thing, they will laugh at you, or worst, they will never say to you anything…who knows, you should try this, but you risk a lot… Maybe they help you, but the thing is not as simple as it seems, you want… Is this love? Is this mind appeal? Who knows? What? The lectures finished? Oh, I wish I were with…
The college day finished for him, though he still does not know what to do. He chases that idea, but who will fill the gap of his life is the thing that worries him. If it were love, he would never find it, he would stay in those platonic affairs, as usual…

An Answer

What is time doing to me?
I cannot realize about it.
While some do know about their acts,
and others are enjoying their search,
I am sitting here trying to find out the facts,
and waiting for the omnipotent sun.
Meanwhile, those some and others are having fun,
But I´ll not be able to do so,
until life answers my hope:
What are you going to do for me?
I wonder when you are telling that,
'cos until then, I could become mad.
Maybe this is going to be done,
Till my thoughts find that fun.

Lies

They want me to play,
and I do not have to.
All these miseries of political government ways
make us feel the forever-madly corruption too.
You want something that does not pollute,
well, you have to invest with your work,
though you do not want to consume
the stuff from this stubborn system.
They make you think it is better,
but you know they do not have the reason.
The conclusion is fucking simple,
they do not care about anything!
Everything they want is for their benefits,
but you will not take them.
I want to change this matter,
but then I realize I need you,
unless you were one of them!

Upon a Way

Why all this has to happen?
We do not need it,
Because we will suffer now and then,
Before the entire world ended.
Now that you can avoid it,
Try to think when you are laid,
And make an effort to find your way;
No one would tell you the right thing.
If you think you are lost,
Do not care about it so much,
Because there will be someone who will post
The things you need to hear about love.
So try to find your right way
Though someone do not let you be away.

Happiness

The more works you read
The less happiness you find,
Because your imagination will lead
This state of mind.
When you realize
The works you have read
Did not make you be surprised,
The more you know your happiness has dead,
Because it is supposed
That those works are for entertainment and imagination,
But finally you realized
That your trip to happiness has no nation.
Thus, my friend, you will use your eyes
To realize that happiness is in somewhere alive.

Imagination

Why are we in this place?
Why are we given such a thing?
Because, as far as we know, we always think,
But it could lead us to the wrong way.
And, oh Reason, why you are always there,
Because you make me feel sad,
When I think about something everywhere
And realize that this world is getting mad.
However, these lines are also a sign
Of the mental illness that all we encounter
In some time in our dammed life,
So do not feel this kind of endanger,
Because all of us sometimes wanted to leave this world,
But do not worry as long as you realize you learn.

A Place

How I can leave such a place,
If my mind says there is no way
To leave this unforgettable space,
Though my body has to be in this field away.
My mind will not forget you,
But my body does not care.
So what I am expected to do
When both argue about this matter.
Myself do not know the option,
Though someone could tell me that
Instead of saying these things, I would feel sad
If my search depends on the opinions.
Lets give a chance to the destiny
To give me the returning back of this place, so lovely…

Vice

All of us have something to hide
And we enjoy it while doing it,
Though some people called it vice,
We know it is not such a thing.
It can be harmful for oneself,
But if one enjoys it knowing the stuff,
There is not such a pain in yourself
While you know everyone has one.
It could be the Smoke, the Drinks, the Sex,
But you cannot know which one
Makes you happier, because the rest
That you have never taken,
Could get you inside it, like this,

A Day
Another good, worthy and sad day,
While my works are done,
Everybody will be soon gone,
And this is supposedly not to be fair,
Because I do not like to play
With this kind of unhappy air.
However, you will be there,
Perhaps I will not see you again,

Improving all the hopes you have dreamt.

Unless you think it is not worthy.

This or that?

These desires are killing me…
While I want this or those,
Another me is saying he likes this,
Though I know it is not supposed
To be the things one likes so far.
Hope you will understand these lines,
Because everyone has something to hide,
Unless they know they give them a chance
To be what they really want to become.
So, let me “introduce” this feeling
As it has always be in this damned thing,
Which it is called by some of you as “the thing that cums”.
Why do we have these thoughts
When we do not want them to look for?

The Emerald Island

I do not know what this place has,
But I guess it is something nice.
Its people… some of them are kind,
Though others are completely mad.
Hopefully I will be there again,
And meet the same people I already met
The time I discovered this lovely country,
Because they just make me feel it.
I know I cannot be in two places,
But my mind will be here and there,
Until I find a comfortable place to stay.
Some friends will be missed forever.
However, we know that nothing lasts too much,
Unless you make the effort to close that nub.
